This Feb marks a milestone five decades of operations for The Walshe Group, with the company that was founded in 1976 by Rodney Walshe now evolved into a well-respected airline GSA and tourism representation business across multiple markets.

Walshe (pictured ‘back in the day’) says his mission started simple, to build trusted partnerships and deliver meaningful results for clients, and this remains relevant today, though it is now his daughter Jacqui Walshe who is at the helm. She says the 50th year is a significant moment for The Walshe Group. “Over five decades, the industry has transformed dramatically, and we have continued to evolve alongside it—embracing new markets, new technologies, and new ways of sup porting destinations and airlines in a more responsible and sustain able way.”
She says looking ahead the focus remains on delivering value for their partners, investing in its people, and contributing positively to the future of tourism for the next 50 years and beyond.
The Walshe Group will celebrate the anniversary throughout 2026 with a range of festivities and events, as well as industry engagement. More details are to come.
