Helios, the large-scale artwork by British artist Luke Jerram, will be on display at the New Zealand International Convention Centre on its opening night 12 Feb.
The illuminated sculpture of the sun was created using a fusion of astrophotography, NASA solar observations and expert scientific guidance and offers a unique chance to stand face-to-face with the Sun and see its surface in extraordinary detail. Helios will move to public view 07-15 Mar in the Concert Chamber, Auckland Town Hall as part of Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival. See more HERE.
