There will soon be another luxury Fiji option for Kiwis, with Mana Island Resort & Spa Fiji announcing plans to undergo a comprehensive refurbishment that aims to reposition it as an upscale island resort.

The upgrade comes as the Mamanuca Islands property joins Radisson Hotel Group, with owner Hiro Osuka saying Radisson’s global reach, strong distribution platform, and experience in lifestyle and resort hospitality, will support the hotel’s vision to elevate Mana Island into a leading upscale island resort.
. . . Changes
As part of the signing, the 160-key resort will undergo a remodeling, reopening in late 2027 with a mix of guest rooms, suites, and beach front villas, as well as multiple dining venues and bars, pools, spa and wellness facilities, a fitness centre, a kids’ club, and event spaces. Details are few at the moment, but the group says guests can expect a ‘contemporary design, authentic Fijian character, and immersive nature-led experiences’.
It will feature under Radisson Individuals, and will be the group’s third Fijian property, joining Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island and the Radisson Blu Mirage Resort, Fiji Naisoso Island, currently under construction.
