Following the launch of its Early Bird Sale 2027, Club Med says that sales for its Japanese ski resorts grew nearly 80% year-on-year, led by its Kiroro Peak resort, with sales up 182%. At the same time Sahoro ski sales were up almost 90% year-on year, while Tomamu and Kiroro Grand sales were up 71% and 51%, respectively.

European ski resort sales were also up close to 30% year-on-year for Australia and New Zealand, driven largely by an incredible rise in demand for French property Val d’Isère (pictured) up 258% year on-year. Club Med notes that its Exclusive Collection resort was the strongest-performing European ski resort at launch. La Rosière sales were also up 96% year-on-year.

Proving popular for 2027 travel, alongside Japan, says Club Med is shoulder season travel. In other trends, Kiwis and Aussies are said to be increasingly looking to off peak holidays, which it attributes to the accessible pricing, milder conditions, shorter lift lines and quieter slopes.

Club Med’s data shows Japan shoulder season ski travel, Feb-Apr, more than doubled year-on-year, up 133%.
