Intrepid Travel has appointed Carys Rolley as its New Zealand marketing manager for trade and partnerships.

It’s a move country manager Simon Mckearney (pictured) says is part of a bigger change for the New Zealand business, putting more decision-making, support and investment on the ground here.
Queenstown-based Rolley, previously supported Intrepid in the Kiwi market across inbound and domestic marketing.
“We want to significantly enhance Intrepid New Zealand to the trade in a meaningful way, and having a dedicated, locally-based trade marketing manager, is the next step in what is becoming a big statement of intent, with more to come,” Mckearney adds. Rolley will work closely with Intrepid’s Leah Johnson and Kiwi agents on trade marketing activity, partnerships and supporting long-term Kiwi growth. In 2025, Intrepid enjoyed its strongest Kiwi year on record.
