Explore Worldwide has achieved a 15% reduction in carbon intensity, exceeding the 5% annual target, and donating AUD14,008 to Greening Australia to protect and restore biodiversity and more.

The gains are documented in its annual Purpose Paper, reporting the company maintains positive impact across its operations.
Globally, the report shows that 38 staff completed in-house car bon literacy training, and 46 new positive-impact experiences were added to itineraries including a lunch at a women-run social enterprise in Kandy, Sri Lanka on the Sri Lanka in Depth tour.

Travellers donated to the Explore Foundation to contribute to rain forest protection and landscape regeneration initiatives in Peru, the UK and Australia.
Explore also funded carbon removal projects with partners and launched trips incorporating lower-impact travel elements.
