Silversea is looking ahead to the launch of its new hotel in Puerto Williams, The Cormorant as its 2025/2026 Antarctic season finishes.

The line operated 38 voyages on Silversea’s Silver Endeavour, Silver Cloud and Silver Wind, with hundreds of guests participating in the bucket-list polar plunge, it says.
“Antarctica continues to be one of the most transformative destinations on Earth, offering extraordinary moments of discovery for even the most experienced travellers,” says Silversea president Bert Hernandez.
All voyages across the fleet offer wildlife sightings, access to diverse landing sites, guided exploration and enrichments through Silversea’s partnership with the Royal Geographical Society.
Antarctica Fly Cruises made the trips more accessible, and classic expedition voyages including the Drake crossing were available this season.
“With the opening of The Cormorant at 55 South [in Oct] we are entering an exciting new era in luxury polar travel that makes these journeys even more immersive, comfortable and accessible.”
Silversea’s 2026/2027 season includes 41 voyages to Antarctica, and will feature its new purpose-built hotel.
Located in Puerto Williams, The Cormorant will have 150 rooms and will support 29 Antarctica Fly Cruise voyages operating between Oct and Mar. See more HERE.
