Portland International Airport is nearing the completion of its new terminal, scheduled for Jun.
The terminal has an award-winning mass-timber roof sourced from nearby forests and via tribal partnerships and offers a woodland feel with its wavy ceiling and more than 5000 plants.
It has local restaurants and shops showcased, including Powell’s Books, Columbia Sportswear, Portland Coffee Roasters and more. The USD2.2 billion project has doubled the terminal capacity to handle 35 million passengers a year by 2045. See more HERE.
