The ship forms part of a serious fleet expansion underway for the cruise line, which has plans to have 13 ships sailing by 2031, including the introduction of a brand-new class of ships in 2029.

It also builds on an expansion into Asia, which includes Disney Adventures’ current homeport agreement in Singapore, and an agreement between Disney and Oriental Land Co. Ltd. to introduce Disney cruise vacations to Japan in 2029.

. . . Believe

Disney Cruise Line ceo Josh D’Amaro revealed the ship’s name, alongside other details at the 2026 Walt Disney Company Annual Shareholders Meeting, saying the name was inspired by dreamers and doers who dare to pursue their own happily ever after.

While Disney Wish is enchantment-themed, Disney Treasure adventure-themed and Disney Destiny heroes and villains-themed, the line says Disney Believe will tell a story of ‘promise and possibilities’. It will be filled with powerful stories of Disney characters who believe in themselves, in their dreams, and in the promise and possibility of a better tomorrow.

Guests can expect areas inspired by the worlds of Encanto and Frozen, as well as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid. Further details are to come; keep up HERE.
