The fare includes dining, entertainment and accommodation. Agents then have the ability to offer upgrades such as Free at Sea, which includes premium beverages, specialty dining, shore excursion credits and a wifi package. There is also a Free at Sea Plus add-on that includes an unlimited open bar with enhanced beverage inclusions, as well as unlimited streaming wifi and 50% off specialty dining nights.

NCL’s APAC senior director sales strategy and operations Damian Borg says for the trade the new structure will make selling NCL easier and more appealing to a wider range of customers. “Agents can now lead with the just cruise price and then easily step guests up through Free at Sea,” he adds. “From there, guests can opt for Free at Sea Plus, delivering exceptional value and commission opportunities.”

Free at Sea starts from $69pp per day, while Free at Sea Plus is from $84.99pp per day.

Borg says NCL is confident that this simplified model, combined with a clearer value story, gives agents a more compelling way to position NCL in the market.
