Seabourn and Uniworld have teamed up to launch a new small ship cruising experience, combining Uniworld’s seven-night immersive Venice and the Jewels of the Veneto itinerary with Seabourn’s seven-night Adriatic and Grecian Gems.
The 14-night Venice and the Mediterranean Sea combo sailing, from 2026, is believed to be the first time that luxury river and ocean cruise brands have collaborated to offer two complementary cruises within one package. Uniworld Australia and New Zealand md Alice Ager, says the idea was a no-brainer, given that agents are already combining Mediterranean cruises with boutique river cruises. Alex Pikardt, senior sales director ANZ for Seabourn, echoes this excitement. “This is a beautiful proposition offering the finest river and ocean cruising available in one trip and I think our agents, will love this and I anticipate these first packages will sell really quickly.” While there are only two departures for now, Ager says there is hope that this is the first of many combo cruises to come.

The cruise will depart on 05 Jul and 30 Aug, starting in Venice with seven nights sailing the Venetian lagoon with experiences including an exclusive after hours visit to St Mark’s Basilica and a private wine tasting at Dominico di Baglio. Guests will then take private coach transfers from S.S. La Venezia to Seabourn Quest, sailing to Vodice, Kotor, Nafplion and Athens. Prices start at the $12,500pp t/s, with agents able to combine it with a three-day extension in Slovenia at Intercontinental Hotel in Ljubljana, bringing the price to $14,400pp.
