Seabourn is enhancing its loyalty program, Seabourn Club—in a move its president Mark Tamis says ensures it better aligns with travellers’ expectations.
For the revised offering, which goes live 20 Oct, the cruise line has lowered thresholds to reach its Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Diamond Elite member levels (for example, clients can become a Silver Member with 15 points instead of 20)— making it easier to access loyalty benefits. In addition it has combined signature benefits with new options including choice benefits, the ability for Silver members to access the upgraded streaming wifi package, and free laundry for Gold members. Under the revised offering, members will be able to earn Seabourn Club Points for paid upgrades to penthouse and premium suites, and Diamond and Diamond Elite special events will be reinstated on every voyage. Award cruises will still be available, it adds, albeit with a new structure that allows guests to continue to build toward future cruise awards over time. Members will earn a seven-day Club Award Cruise at 350 Club Days and an additional 14-day Club Award Cruise 110 Club Days later. Then, after 460 Club Days, members will earn an additional seven-day Club Award Cruise every 110 Club Days.
. . . Offer
For clients who are close to a Milestone Award Cruise currently, if they book eligible cruises before 19 Oct Seabourn says they may receive advance credit, allowing them to reach their Milestone Cruise Award under the current requirement, which is 140 redeemable sailed days for a seven-day cruise and 250 days for a 14-day cruise.
