Luxury Gold has launched a new itinerary in collaboration with Visit Scotland which will operate next year.
The 10-day Spectacular Scotland trip is priced from $13,525pp and includes a focus on combatting overtourism and championing local suppliers.
Highlights include a Highland tartan demonstration at Prickly Thistle, a women-run tartan mill preserving ancestral weaving techniques with a sustainable twist; wildlife conservation in Glencoe; marine conservation with the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trusts, and sustainable dining at Wedgwood The Restaurant. The tour also makes conscious routing through destinations like Cairngorms National Park and Dornoch to avoid crowded city stops, says TTC, and accommodation is in eco-certified hotels such as Cameron House on Loch Lomond.
TTC Tour Brands managing director Toni Ambler says luxury travellers are no longer asking if their trip makes an impact—they’re asking how.
“Spectacular Scotland gives travel agents the confidence to meet that demand with a truly unique itinerary that balances comfort, culture, and conscience,” she concludes.
