Disneyland’s 70th celebrations officially kick off 16 May with new entertainment, specialty food and beverages and more.
Highlighted additions include a new World of Color show, hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from the Pixar film Inside Out.
The Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland Park will return to Main Street, with more than a million LED lights and characters and stories from Pixar films such as Monsters Inc., Cars, and Toy Story and Disney Animation films including The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. Nighttime spectacular Wondrous Journeys will return, with stories from movies including Hercules, Peter Pan and Frozen.
Daytime parade Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration will run at California Adventure with more than 24 favorite characters from Pixar films, while new show Tapestry of Happiness will feature at Disneyland, featuring light, music and projection effects. Disneyland will debut a new The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade when popular characters party along the parade route.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse and friends will sport new custom looks and there will be 70th anniversary décor and merchandise.
