Luxury river cruise operator Mekong Kingdoms has a new vessel in Southeast Asia Boheme, sailing between Luang Prabang and Vientiane.
The debut of the boutique ship (pictured) is good news for travel agents selling Mekong cruises, with her voyages commissionable at 25%.
Boheme is described by the cruise line as the new ‘Grand Dame of the Mekong’. The vessel offers 13 suites, ranging from the 30m2 deluxe suites which include one bedroom, a living room, en-suite bathroom and a private balcony, through to the 60m2 royal suite, with private sundeck, a freestanding bath and dedicated butler services.
Highlights of the ship include three d e c k s and two onboard treatment rooms offering massages. Guests will also find cooking and mixology classes onboard.

Boheme will sail a five-night journey, ex Luang Prabang to Vientiane, or vv. Highlights will include a stay at the historic Avani+ Luang Prabang Hotel, shore excursions such as visiting Pak Ou caves and Kuang Si waterfall, pottery lessons at Ban Chan, and the chance to watch a traditional Lao dance at Pak Lay.
