Viking has launched what it says is its biggest sales incentive single agent prize yet, and a new free flights deal, as the company reports continued growth from New Zealand.
The Holy Viking I Need To Win This incentive is open to Australasian agents and the winner will receive a self-famil that includes flights and a Viking river, ocean and expedition sailing prize haul worth AUD77,000. “Let’s be honest, there’s no shortage of incentives out there. But we are Viking. We don’t do ordinary…one booking puts you in the running, so we encourage everyone to jump in,” says Viking’s Lee Siefken. Growth from the Kiwi market has exceeded Viking’s forecast and the cruise line is ‘pacing to have a record breaking year in 2025’. While that growth has been across its portfolio, with more agents cross-selling itineraries, Viking says its expedition has had the highest percentage year-on-year growth, albeit off a small base. In the local market Siefken says the trade is its ‘largest and most important channel and will continue to be a primary focus’. The incentive is for sales 02 Sep-01 Dec and agents who sell a Viking voyage and fill out an entry form will be in to win, and every additional booking is another entry. The winni ng agent, selected in a prize draw, will win flights and three voyages for two, with the option to take the cruises back-to-back or spread them out. Viking is also giving away spot prizes, including 24 AUD1000 vouchers for the Rewards by Viking store, with six of these set aside for Kiwi agents. Find out more HERE.
