Universal’s New Orlando Theme Park

The countdown is now on for when clients will be officially able to add Berk to their travel itinerary, with previews now available ahead of the official opening of Universal Epic Universe on 22 May.

Part of Universal Orlando Resort, the new theme park has five immersive worlds, most notably How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Here, guests will find family thrill coaster Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, musical show The Untrainable Dragon, wet-and-wild boat battle Fyre Drill, Dragon Racer’s Rally, and adventure playground Viking Training Camp. Food-wise, highlights include Mead Hall where guests ‘can feast like a Viking’, as well as Spit Fyre Grill and Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel. Themed shops like Viking Traders, How to Treat Your Dragon, Hiccup’s Work Shop, and Toothless’ Treasures also feature. The Viking-themed land joins Celestial Park, which is the heart of the park, as well as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World and the monster-inspired Dark Universe, home to werewolves, Frankenstein Universal’s New Orlando Theme Park and more. Previews are underway for guests staying at any Universal Orlando hotel.

. . . Helios Grand

Universal Orlando’s newest hotel, Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, is also now open. Located adjacent to Universal Epic Universe, the Mediterranean inspired property has 500 rooms, dining options including Flora Taverna and Aurora Market, a resort-style zero-entry pool, a hot tub, poolside cabanas, fitness center, games room, and a Universal Studios Store, as well as the top floor Bar Helios.
