Swan Hellenic’s Local Expeditions

Swan Hellenic has revealed its first collection of cultural expeditions in Asia Pacific, taking place aboard SH Minerva in 2026.

The cruise line ceo Andrea Zito says the addition of Asia Pacific means it now offers a ‘truly global choice of voyages’. The season begins with the 13-night Wild Eden of Papua New Guinea: Solomon Islands & Papua New Guinea, sailing ex Honiara to Jayapura on 05 Apr. This is followed by the 10-night Secrets of the Coral Triangle: Papua New Guinea & Indonesia, sailing ex Jayapura to Sorong on 18 Apr; and the 11-night Last Paradise on Earth: Raja Ampat, Indonesia & Philippines ex Sorong to Manila on 28 Apr. These three cruises include hotel accommodation, charter flights and transfers to reach the departure ports. Other voyages in the line up include an 11-night Philippines to Japan Cultural Discovery ex Manila to Hiroshima on 09 May and a 10-night Japan, ex Hiroshima to Otaru on 20 May. Then in Sep, there will be two 10-night Japan-only cruises, sailing Otaru to Hiroshima and then Hiroshima to Itozaki. Ports will be visited once, so agents can combine departures for longer cruises, knowing the client won’t backtrack. Options include a 55-day grand cruise Honiara to Otaru. Bookings are now open; see HERE.
