Silversea has revealed further details of its purpose-built Chilean resort, The Cormorant at 55 South, ahead of its Jan opening.
The property is available to clients opting for Silversea’s Antarctica Fly Cruise sailings, which allow clients to fly instead of sailing the Drake Passage, and offers a chance to further explore the Fuegian Archipelago prior to their journey to Antarctica. Highlights will include a series of guided excursions and activities catering to most adventure levels, ranging from birdwatching and hiking through a subpolar forest to kayaking the Beagle Channel. Silversea president Bert Hernandez says The Cormorant will be more than just a place to stay, ‘it will become a new point for discovery at the edge of the world.’
