More than 300 Kiwi agents have experienced Silversea’s flagship Silver Nova, via ship visits and famils, during the ship’s inaugural Australasian season—and Nova’s asymmetrical design and additional venues have proved a hit with them.
“… Seeing such a positive response has been fantastic, and we’re thrilled to showcase the Nova class’ pioneering design and energy efficiency credentials, says Silversea md Asia Pacific Adam Radwanski.
“Next year, we’re also looking forward to bringing Silver Moon to the region alongside Silver Nova, further expanding the opportunities for local travellers to experience Silversea’s industry-leading luxury and the S.A.L.T. culinary offering available on both ships next summer.
. . . Selling Point
A common comment from the agents aboard Nova was the ship’s airy feel, and resort-like pool deck. “The ship’s design provides an environment where guests feel truly connected to their destinations while enjoying the relaxed, luxurious vibe,” adds Radwanski. “From the thoughtful layout of the pool deck, which overlooks the edge of the ship thanks to the ship’s asymmetrical design, to the abundance of pool loungers and comfortable seating, every detail was designed with guest comfort and enjoyment in mind. It’s wonderful to hear such positive feedback from the agents—it means we’re delivering on our vision.”
. . . Wider Appeal
Radwanski also welcomed the agent feedback that Nova’s offering is expected to appeal a wider range of
travellers. “While Silversea continues to cater to our loyal guests who value bespoke luxury, the innovative
design of Silver Nova, coupled with spaces like the S.A.L.T. Lab and Dusk Bar, naturally broadens the ship’s appeal.”
The Silversea executive says the cruise line is looking to offer something for all travellers. “…Many of these design elements stem from feedback and close observation of evolving travel trends, as well as the wants and desires of our guests,” he says highlighting the ship’s 4000m2 of exterior glass, ‘creating this seamless connection between all areas of the ship–public and private–and the destination’. “It’s been a game changer
for the cruise experience.”
. . . Groups
Radwanski says group travel continues to be a growing opportunity, for both agents and the cruise line in this market. “Group bookings allow agents to tap into Silversea’s generous commission structures while creating tailored, high-value experiences for their clients,” he adds.
