With a growing number of New Zealanders choosing holidays that help them recharge, phys­ically and mentally, Norwegian Cruise Line is highlighting its Asian cruises which it says are designed for travellers wanting to slow down and prioritise wellbeing.

Recommended voyages include the 15-day Asia: Hong Kong & Thailand ex Taipei to Singapore on 17 Nov, which explores Vietnam, Taiwan, Cambodia and Thailand. Wellness offerings include yoga by the sea in Ko Samui and relaxing at Sihanoukville’s beaches.

The 11-day Asia: Osaka, Nagoya & Mt. Fuji, sailing ex Tokyo to Taipei via Hong Kong on 25 Nov includes the chance to visit the gardens of Nagoya Castle and the beaches of Okinawa, take part in nature tours in Taipei, and in Hong Kong, try traditional reflexology.

The 14-day Cruise to Japan: Osaka, Kochi, Nagoya and Busan, sailing roundtrip ex Tokyo on 10 Apr 2027 explores the gardens of Kanazawa, the temples and teahouses of Kyoto and a visit to a healing cypress forest.

NCL points out the wellness offer­ings on board include Mandara Spa and Thermal Suite, which offers saunas, steam rooms, pools and heated loungers.
