As train travel continues to trend, one company is looking to elevate the experience with private railcars.

Halloway is a platform that connects agents and travellers with operators of premier private railcars across the US. Unlike current rail options, it says its privately-owned passenger rail coaches are ‘meticulously-maintained homes on rails’ with bed rooms, private kitchens and lounges, dedicated observation areas, and other high-end amenities.
Halloway ceo Mike Avena says the company offers commission to agents, with varying rates depending on volume, plus agents also get access to the concierge desk within Halloway’s team that will help book charters or excursions on behalf of the agent’s clients. “We work with several private rail car owners and can arrange trips almost anywhere on the US passenger network between major cities,” says Avena.
“We’ll handle the logistics of finding the right car to meet clients’ needs and arranging movements on the railroad—agents just let us know where their client would like to go.”
