From snowmobile tours to warming up with whiskey sampling, Visit Park City has outlined Utah city’s top five winter experiences.
While skiing down the slopes is one of the main attractions, the city also offers other activities, including bobsled rides at Utah Olympic Park. The Olympic track is one of the only ones in the world where tourists can partake, led by experienced drivers and reaching speeds of up to 60 mph. For something a little warmer there’s whiskey tasting tours at High West Distillery, Utah’s first whiskey distillery, for an insight into the production process and to sample some of the best whiskeys. Clients can explore the area’s snow-covered trails with a guided snowshoe tour which range from gentle adventures to more challenging expeditions. For those seeking something with a faster pace, there’s snowmobile riding with trails through the mountain. Direct families to Woodward Park City, a winter sports park with an outdoor area for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing, and an indoor park with trampolines, areas for biking, skateboarding and parkour. There’s also snorkelling at Home-stead Crater, which is warmed geothermally; exploring the city’s culinary scene with a Gourmand Food Tour or a Delicious Cities Tour; or exploring the city’s history at the Park City Museum.
