The Field of Light at Uluru has been refurbished and will remain in place until at least Apr 2027, advises Ayers Rock Resort.
Made up of 300,000 component parts and more than 380kms of optical fibre, the equivalent of a straight line from Sydney to Wagga Wagga or from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, and covering an area over 49000m2, Bruce Munro’s Field of Light has already been visited by over 730,000 people since its 2016 launch.
. . . Upgraded Dining
At the same time Ayers Rock Resort’s signature A Night at Field of Light dining experience has also been upgraded.
The 4.5-hour event now includes telescopes for enhanced stargazing (as pictured); a refreshed canapé and buffet menu featuring dishes like pineapple and lemon myrtle gazpacho, and smoked kangaroo with native pepperberry yoghurt; new table lighting, centrepieces and crockery.
The Field of Light viewings include general admission from AUD48/ adult, AUD35/child and the Star Pass which includes canapes and drinks is priced from AUD 118/ adult, AUD 75/child.
A Night at Field of Light which includes canapes, three-course buffet, drinks, star talk and didgeridoo performance costs AUD 335/ adult, AUD 168/child. These rates are for travel 01 Apr-31 Mar.
