Holland America Line’s Oosterdam is sailing again following a dry dock that saw the ship undergo enhancements to its staterooms and public spaces.
Highlights of the refresh include new hot tubs at the sea aft pool, a new co-ed sauna and new couple’s massage therapy room at Greenhouse Spa & Salon, and a new Laconium thermal room, steam room and experiential rain shower in The Thermal Suite.
There’s new equipment in the fitness centre, the salon has been made more accessible and there’s also new carpet in public areas, suites and verandah staterooms, new bathrooms in staterooms and new deck furniture for several balcony staterooms.
The Rolling Stone Lounge was fully upgraded, while Lido Market received a substantial refresh, and Canaletto a touch up. Also notable is the Crow’s Nest, which is now home to a refreshed Arts Studio, a dedicated Games Room and Puzzle Area, while Neptune Lounge has been refurbished.
The Casino was also expanded taking over the former Gallery Bar, the Photo Studio and Photo Gallery has been refreshed, and the movie theatre was replaced with a new Effy Lounge and Effy retail shop.
Oosterdam is now bound for the Mediterranean, where she will sail for the next seven months.
