Norwegian Cruise Line is revitalizing two of its ships, in response to guest feedback.
More outdoor experiences, more balcony and oceanview staterooms, and even a Starbucks are among the highlights. Norwegian Epic has already entered a three-week dry dock, and highlighted enhancements include a new hot tub on the top deck and a refreshed Kids’ Aqua Park that replaces Splash golf. The adults-only Vibe Beach Club will be expanded, replacing Posh Beach Club, home to an additional hot tub, more lounge chairs and new private cabana. The ship will also add eight new staterooms, both balcony and oceanview, adds the cruise line. She will sail again from 08 May, offering nine-, 10- and 11-day cruises ex Rome exploring Europe and the Mediterranean. Pride of America has also entered a dry dock. The Hawai‘i-based ship is set to receive a new Starbucks location and a pickleball court, while youth club Splash Academy and teen club Entourage will be relocated to Deck Ssix, replacing the S/S America Library, Internet Café and chapel. Guests will also find a new library and card room. There’s also 12 new club balcony suites and three inside staterooms on Deck 12. Pride of America will return to Honolulu on 31 May, offering seven-day Hawaiian cruises.
