NCL Unveils New Show Line-up

entertainment productions will debut across nine of the cruise line’s vessels through Sep.

The shows were created in Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ Creative Studios in Tampa, Florida and new additions include Red, White, & British, Bring Back the 90s, ICONS: The Bands, and Ignite the Night. The shows have been curated for multi-generational audiences, guided by consumer insights and direct guest feedback, adds the cruise line.

“I’m particularly excited about the new Red, White & British produc­tion debuting this year,” says Ben Angell, NCL’s vice-president and managing director Asia Pacific. “This high energy show celebrates iconic British musical performers and artists who have taken the airwaves by storm and is in collab­oration with our long-time Aussie partner Burn the Floor.”

Red, White & British celebrates iconic British musical performers and as above, artists who have taken the US airwaves by storm, says NCL, including David Bowie and Queen, while Bring Back the 90s includes celebrated songs from Alanis Morissette, Salt-N-Pepa, and Destiny’s Child and also features 90s fashion, pop culture, music, and memorable trends.

ICONS: The Bands is produced by the director and choreographer, Stacy Walker, whose credits include working with renowned musicians and global stars such as Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga, while Ignite the Night showcases a mix of dance, style, and design.

Additional programming outside of the main theatre includes more cast interactions, and an increase in live music throughout more venues with expansion into youth and family entertainment, including ‘spontaneous’ Mini Moments of More flash mob entertainment throughout the ship.
