NCL & Its Voyages For The Art Lover

Norwegian Cruise Line is highlighting its itineraries which feature destinations for art lovers.

Tokyo is home to cutting-edge art museums TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, where art is combined with technology, light, and sound. NCL says clients can visit on its 11-day Asia: Osaka, Nagoya & Mt. Fuji, ex Tokyo to Taipei, departing 25 Nov. In Europe, Hamburg is the highlighted city, with it now home to Port Des Lumieres. The immersive art installation explores the city’s maritime history through digital art projections and immersive exhibits. Clients stay overnight in Hamburg on the seven-day Europe: Belgium, Germany & England ex Copenhagen to Paris, departing 26 Apr, 2026.

Also worth a mention is Barcelona and the IDEAL Centre d’Arts Digitals, which houses both digital and virtual reality exhibitions. For the America-bound, New Orleans is the go-to for art lovers, specifically JAMNOLA, says NCL. The centre features a series of NCL & Its Voyages For The Art Lover interactive exhibits exploring New Orleans’ unique artistic spirit, from murals to musical installations. In Boston WNDR features 20 installations of immersive, interactive art including optical illusions. Closer to home is Melbourne, which is home to interactive art experience ArtVo. The installation features hand-painted illusions through which guests can become part of the art.
