Holland America Line has expanded its offerings in Northern Europe in response to demand, adding a third dedicated ship for the 2027 season.
Zuiderdam will join Rotterdam and Nieuw Statendam, with the trio sailing ex Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dover and Reykjavik. Itineraries range from seven to 21 days, with highlights including two eclipse cruises, three Northern Lights cruises, and a range of Viking Homelands itineraries which call into ports like Bergen, Stavanger and Odda. There’s also longer voyages, such as the14-day Wild British Isles: Ireland + Cliffs of Moher with The History Channel exploring Ireland and Scotland, and a series of 14-day Baltic and Scandinavian Capitals sailings which include overnight or late-night calls in destinations like Copenhagen, Tallinn, and Kiel.

In the Mediterranean Oosterdam will sail 14 itineraries from seven to 11 days, and Nieuw Statendam will sail three itineraries of either 14 or 15 days. These cruises will operate ex Barcelona, Athens, Venice or Rome, with options for clients to combine itineraries for sailings up to 21 days with no repeat ports. Cruises on Rotterdam, Nieuw Statendam and Oosterdam can be booked now, with bookings for Zuiderdam and Volendam’s Voyage of the Vikings on sale later in Jun.
