Menopause retreats are tipped to be among the next big thing in wellness travel, with the Global Wellness Institute recently listing it as among the top 10 trends.
The institute points out that by the end of this year it’s estimated approximately 1.1 billion women worldwide will either be experiencing or have already been through menopause, and these women will be enduring some of more than 40 different symptoms. The multi-day menopause escapes allow women to share their experience with others going through ‘the change’, as well as learn from health and well-being experts.
