Mark O’Donnell (MOD) has been appointed as a strategic advisor to the Global Travel Network board as the business continues to quietly go from strength to strength.
The former House of Travel ceo joins board members Rob Beecher, Allen Bell, Richard Stapel, and Brent Thomas.
“His expertise and extensive industry knowledge will be invaluable in shaping GTN’s strategic direction and strengthening its position as a leading independent travel network in New Zealand,” says GTN.
Company ceo Rob Beech says the business is ‘very grateful to have someone with MOD’s depth of experience and knowledge to advise the GTN Board at a strategic level’.
MOD was part of the original approach to Beecher and Bell more than 10 years ago and says ‘it’s fantastic to be back associated with the industry again and especially with Rob, Allen and the GTN team’.
“The amazing business that has been created from their focus on relationships, commercial acumen, and customer service speaks for itself, and it is a privilege to be assisting them now,” he adds
MOD will help with strategic advice, stakeholder management, and business development. “The industry never stands still, so I am looking forward to getting up to speed and spending time with GTN’s agents in Brisbane in Jul,” he adds.
