Luxury Escapes has reported a spike in the Kiwi trade use of its agent hub over the past three months, as the company identifies New Zealand as a key growth market.
From Sep to Nov the platform says Kiwi sales through its agent hub are up 112% year-on-year, along with 59% more active users and 82% more website traffic from the New Zealand trade.
The Agent Hub is the fastest growing part of Luxury Escapes, which company ceo Adam Schwab expects will continue into 2026. “We’re seeing strong demand for the exceptional high-value, high-end packages we’re known for in places like Thailand, Fiji and Bali. More recently, Japan has surged, particularly at the premium end, showing that Kiwi travellers are eager to broaden their horizons in style.” Aotearoa has been outgrowing a lot of Luxury Escapes’ newer markets, he adds. In general, Luxury Escapes Oct holiday bookings from New Zealand are up 26% year-on-year.
Standout growth from the market is Japan with sales up 56% year-on-year to Oct 25, Thailand up 24% and Indonesia/ Bali up 14%. At the same time Australia and Fiji remain popular with Kiwis, he adds.
. . . Société
Luxury Escapes has launched its new loyalty program Société in New Zealand. Members can earn status credits on eligible purchases, with bronze, silver, gold and platinum tiers. Points can be spent on tours, flights, experiences, travel insurance or hotel rooms. Access to guaranteed room upgrades at the time of booking, airport lounge access in Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown international airports as well as in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and private chauffeur airport transfers can become available to Société members. . . . For Agents
Schwab says an Agent Hub version of Société will be launched in the new year, where agents will be able to earn points on both their own travel and client bookings. “Agents will be able to give their customers the points or keep points for themselves,” he says.
