G Adventures has launched more than 100 new itineraries this year, off the back of what its vp product Yves Marceau says was ‘one of its largest growth years ever’.
The new trips feature new destinations and old favorites. Marceau says the operator is being very intentional about new product development, noting regions where its offerings can benefit from more flexibility as well as expansion into regions where the company hasn’t been in the past. The aim, adds Sean Martin, G’s md Australia NZ and Asia, is to inspire travellers with fresh experiences, but to also help combat overtourism by encouraging travel to lesser-known regions where tourism dollars can have a more meaningful impact. “This approach is key to our continued growth as a business and our commitment to responsible travel.”
