South Sea Cruises Group has launched South Sea Cats—a new service offering resort transfers and half-day snorkelling adventures.
The brand operates two 36 – passenger high – speed catamarans Lynx and Puma, which are now operating two daily scheduled resort transfers across the Mamanuca Islands from Port Denarau. Morning transfers from northern Mamanuca resorts to Port Denarau are timed to connect with afternoon flights; while the evening transfers to the resorts allow for same-day arrivals from Nadi International Airport. South Sea Cruises Group’s Brad Rutherford says that the new offering solves a real challenge for travellers to Fiji. “This is a smarter, faster and more comfortable alternative for resort transfers—one designed to fit perfectly with flight schedules and traveller expectations,” he adds. In addition, from 26 May, South Sea Cats will also offer a half-day product Ride & Slide, which is a half-day reef trip, available in both the morning and afternoon. Alongside gear for snorkelling the reef, clients will find a giant inflatable slide on board, as well as paddleboards. Both of the trips will depart from Port Denarau and return the same day, and are geared to travellers with limited time. Prices start from FJD159 per adult and FJD109 per child.
