Fiji Airways has introduced a new Pacific Rim-inspired onboard menu and says it is changing the way its passengers dine in business class, in a bid to offer a ‘restaurant quality experience’ in the sky.
The new Dine on Demand concept in business class, launching progressively on select long-haul sectors, will allow passengers to choose when they eat, as well as what they eat. Dishes available will include grilled mahi mahi with prawn chilli oil, Fijian chicken curry and kumquat cheesecake. These passengers can also access an expanded beverage offering that includes pressed juices, premium wines and a series of cocktails and mocktails inspired by the islands.
. . . Economy
Those passengers in economy will not miss out on the in-flight dining upgrades with new food and beverages also planned on select flights. Highlighted additions include a new mocktail and cocktails, hot chocolate, and new snack and beverage choices that will be available throughout the flight.
These changes are being progressively rolled out on select long-haul flights, with a completion date of Jul 2026.
