Envoyage, Flight Centre Travel Group’s independent business platform, is gearing up for its annual event The Summit, in Queenstown later this week as the brand highlights its growing local agent and broker base.
This also includes its evolving offering to become a ‘comprehensive global ecosystem enhancing travel businesses depending on where they are in their entrepreneurial journeys’. Jay Dobie has joined Envoyage along with new agency member Travel Beyond. Sarah McDonald, Stu McDonald, Ellie van der Leij, Sarah Rogers, Lesley McLeod, Emma Cracroft-Wilson, Ilona Szymanska, Nadine Williams, Dianne Hall, Lee Orton, Charly Endean, Natalie Osborn, Jim Cato- Symonds, Kate Hunt, Christina Boles, Sue Humphrey, John Humphrey and Jess Lamb have also joined the Envoyage brand; while Holly Summer has joined Travel Lounge with Carry Walshe, and Jaimee Thorne has launched her own independent business, Thorne Travel. “We are thrilled to be welcoming more members; it’s exciting to see a common goal of our members who are all aiming to enhance their businesses,” says Envoyage New Zealand gm Jason Buckley. “With the dedicated support and ability to access what suits them from our global ecosystem of services, tools and products, we are looking forward to being part of their journeys ahead and we are proud to be opening up a world of choice for travel entrepreneurs.” Envoyage, he adds, offers its members support across the different membership models, ‘each bringing their own unique contributions to the diverse network’. Newest addition to the fold, Jay Dobie, says Envoyage ‘presented a great platform and opportunity to back myself to start my own business’. “I’m excited for the freedom of being able to focus on building my business and showing customers the world. All while being part of a connected support network of experienced agents that I can look to for inspiration and guidance, too.”
