Coral Expeditions has released its 2026/27 season, which expands its offerings in Papua New Guinea and Melanesia and makes a return to New Zealand.
In Papua New Guinea, there will be four new itineraries that the cruise line says venture further into the remote territories, including a 10-night Beyond Frontiers of Papua New Guinea ex Rabaul to Port Moresby and a 14-night Passage Through the Melanesian Arc ex Port Moresby to Port Vila. The other two new additions include a 12-night Papua New Guinea Discoverer ex Madang to Cairns and a 12-night Frontier Lands of Papua New Guinea ex Cairns to Rabaul.

Coral Expeditions will return to New Zealand with a series of sailings Dec-Jan, exploring the east coast of the North Island as well the South Island’s Sounds and Fiordland. Highlighted cruises include the eight-night New Zealand Sounds and Stewart Island, sailing ex Bluff, and a 10-night South Island and Fiordland’s of New Zealand ex Bluff to Wellington. The season will also include a new series of 14- and 18-night itineraries through the Flores, Ende, Komodo and Sulawesi territories, and additional annual departures into the Raja Ampat, Spice Islands and West Papua region.
This includes the 18-night Raja Ampat and Spice Islands ex Darwin and Sorong and 14-night Island Empires & Ancient Mariners ex Darwin and Makassar. See HERE.
