Celebrity Cruises has revealed further details on the options set to feature aboard Celebrity Xcel, ahead of her debut later this year—and it’s offering keen Kiwis the chance to have a sneak peek as a Dream Maker.
The new ship will house 32 globally-inspired food and beverage choices, with new additions including al fresco restaurant Bora which boasts a Mediterranean seafood-forward menu, says the cruise line. Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, guests can expect dishes such as shakshuka eggs with sourdough, carabinero prawns, and lamb tagine with saffron couscous. On the entertainment front, the line claims Celebrity Xcel will boast its most expansive entertainment offering, with highlights including three new theatre shows enhanced by state-of-the-art technology. There Celebrity’s Xcellent Line-up To Launch will also be multiple new dance parties with themes including 80’s glitz and glam and elevated country music. Lisa Lehr, vp entertainment, says the offering is brand new at every turn, from unforgettable new theatre shows, new interactive shows in The Club and a variety of immersive parties and live music options. “The choice is endless for guests to find their perfect match each and every night.”
