Anaheim’s Desert Palms Hotel, located a 10-minute walk from the Disneyland front gate, continues to attract a growing number of Kiwi travellers.
The hotel’s Marie Enriquez (pictured) was in Auckland last week and shared some tips for a ‘happy’ Anaheim stay.
1: Clients can start the day with the free Desert Palms hot breakfast buffet, featuring home-made salsa with ingredients from the hotel’s vegetable garden. Tell clients to keep an eye out for Marie who prepares the popular breakfast salsa on select days—and she’s more than happy to share the recipe, too.
2: Urge clients to arrive at the parks early to maximise their time—and as it’s a short walk between the hotel and parks, clients can head back for a rest before returning for the evening.
3: Add-ons for children include its kids registration, lobby scavenger hunt, kids play area and seasonal kids craft activities.
4: The hotel welcomes solo travellers, couples, friends, families, and multi-generational families, across its studio suites, kid suites with bunk beds, kitchen suites and family suites.
5: Agents are urged to let Marie know if their clients are celebrating a birthday or special occasion so she can create a little something special.
