The free wifi is being installed on BA aircraft throughout 2026, the first equipped aircraft having taken off earlier this month, with plans for its entire fleet of more than 300 aircraft to have this new technology within the next two years.

BA ceo Sean Doyle says launching Starlink on both long-haul and short-haul aircraft is ‘game-changing’ for BA and its customers.

BA has also opened two new lounges in Miami and Dubai and renovated 15 other lounges elsewhere.

The carrier has taken delivery of 17 A320neo aircraft fitted with the airline’s new short-haul cabins.

More aircraft, including 787-10s, are still to come and BA will also launch a brand-new app this year.

The airline’s much anticipated new First suite, featuring its widest and longest seat and bed, is also slated to debut soon. Keep up to date HERE.
