Avalon Waterways is elevating its river cruise offering by enhancing its fleet of ships over the next two years.
The work cover interiors and exterior spaces, and comes as president Pam Hoffee says the perfectly designed river cruise starts with a perfectly designed ship.
“With our fleet-wide refresh, we’re elevating details, from drapes on the widest-opening windows in river cruising and décor of our Panorama Lounges to fit-for-purpose fitness centers and fleets of new bikes, ensuring that our Suite Ships continue to set the standard for effortless travel, along the world’s waterways.”
Upon completion, the ships will sport new décor in every public space, from flooring to furniture, and a second Starlink antenna for even faster internet.
There’s also a new-look Sky Deck, and an enhanced Observation Lounge and fitness room, and the addition of 15 new bikes and four new e-bikes on each ship. The refresh is taking place in phases, and commenced in 2024 with Avalon Passion, Avalon Imagery II, Avalon Poetry II, Avalon Panorama and Avalon Vista.
This year Avalon Artistry II, Avalon Impression, Avalon Illumination, Avalon Tapestry II and Avalon Tranquility II are being refreshed. Avalon Expression and Avalon Visionary will be refurbed the following year.
Avalon Alegria, Avalon View and Avalon Envision will not be included, as the cruise line notes the trio were already built in the enhanced style leading the fleetwide refresh.
