Aurora: The Arctic & Beyond In 2027

Aurora Expeditions’ Arctic & Beyond 2027 season features 25 voyages exploring Svalbard, Greenland, the Northwest Passage, Scotland, Iceland, Norway and the Faroe Islands, as well as Costa Rica and Panama.

The voyages aboard Greg Mortimer and Sylvia Earle range from eight to 16 days, and Aurora ceo Michael Heath says they will showcase what Aurora does best: offering meaningful, responsible adventures in the world’s wildest places. “From polar bears in the high Arctic to sea cliffs in the Scottish isles, each voyage is designed to connect our expeditioners with nature, culture, and science in unforgettable ways.”

A highlight, it says, is new special edition voyages such as the eight-day Polar Bears in the Changing Arctic, in partnership with New Scientist Discovery Tours, which explores the Svalbard archipelago ex Oslo, where guests will have the chance to spot Arctic foxes, polar bears, humpback and fin whales. The 15-day The Arctic Women’s Expedition: Svalbard & Greenland, is an all-women expedition ex Oslo to Reykjavik via Svalbard and East Greenland. The third new itinerary is the 11-day Iceland & East Greenland Through the Lens Photography, sailing roundtrip Reykjavik with multiple award-winning photographers on board. The season also features an enhanced activity program to include paddling and snorkeling, 10 dedicated solo cabins on every voyage with no single supplement, and for a limited time there are earlybird savings of up to 25% on select sailings.
