Air Tickets’ connection to Qatar Airways’ NDC platform is now live for Travelport, Sabre and Amadeus users, advises Helloworld.
This means Air Tickets agent customers now have access to NDC content from QR, including its ‘shop, book and ticket’ functionality, enabling agents to access a greater range of booking classes and lower SmartNDC fares.
QR’s NDC fares ‘provides greater value fares’ compared to traditional EDIFACT fares, making the NDC levels the best value QR fares in the market, says HLO. “Agents can shop and book via SmartFares, or via your GDS; the choice is yours to access a wide variety of NDC content and offers,” says HLO’s group gm consolidation. “We are pleased to be once again leading the way with NDC connectivity.”
Air Tickets is authorised to issue tickets for agents, with no additional onboarding required with QR.
Agents who use Travelport or Amadeus don’t need to do any additional registration or onboarding processes, however those agents who use Sabre will need to ensure they have ‘ordered’ QR NDC from their Sabre Central Marketplace, adds HLO.
