Industry veteran Gai Tyrrell has this morning been announced as Fiji Airway’s regional director Australia and New Zealand.
She is charged with overseeing the airline’s largest markets, while John Nickel steps into the role of regional general manager Pacific Islands, effective from 01 Apr.
FJ has also named Russell Shaw as chief network, revenue and alliances and he will lead the carrier’s network optimisation, revenue strategy and alliance development. “The appointments strengthen [FJ’s] commercial capability as it advances disciplined network expansion across ANZ, North America and the Pacific,” adds the carrier.
