TAANZ NTIA 2026 Officially Launched

TAANZ has today officially launched the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) for 2026, which will be held 16 May at the coveted New Zealand International Conference Centre (NZICC) in Auckland.

“NTIA 2026 promises to be a standout year for the sector, and TAANZ is immensely grateful for the strong show of confidence and commitment from our returning partners,” says TAANZ ceo Julie White.

. . . Sponsors

“We are proud to once again be supported by our platinum sponsors Qantas, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines and Viking Cruises, alongside a valued group of partners who continue to cham pion the travel trade year after year,” says White. She stresses that the event sponsors play a vital role in elevating NTIA beyond an awards night.

“Their support helps showcase the strength of New Zealand’s travel agent industry,” she adds.

White is urging those in the trade across the sector and across the country to attend this year’s event, which celebrates the wider indus try and all those involved.

“NTIA 2026 will once again bring the industry together to celebrate success, inspire future excellence, and recognise the people and organisations shaping the future of travel in New Zealand,” she adds.

. . . More To Enjoy

This year the TAANZ boss says the NTIA event will feature ‘exciting partner activations’ with the trade in the lead-up to the event, offering a preview of what attendees can look forward to on the night’ – with White adding that there’s ‘more reveals to come’.

. . . Nominations

Nominations for the NTIA 2026 awards open on Wed. White says TAANZ is inviting those in the industry to recognise outstanding individuals and businesses who are setting the benchmark for excellence.

Nominations will be shared via direct e-mail to members, and further details will be released later this week.
