World Journeys has launched a new nine-day Essence of Albania itinerary, in response to a rising number of travellers looking for alternative, niche European destinations.
“There is more than enough in Albania alone to warrant a visit,” says World Journeys director Kate Couling.
Starting in capital city Tirana, travellers will explore Rozafa Fortress in Shkodra, UNESCO cities of Berat and Gjirokastra, the Blue Eye springs, the Bronze Age ruins of Butrinti and The Albanian Riviera before rounding back to Tirana.
