Cruise Month 2025 is being hailed as the best yet, as Cruise Lines International Association data shows record levels of engagement from both travel agents and consumers for Oct.
CLIA md Australasia Joel Katz says the association saw more travel agents than ever getting involved in Cruise Month and mounting their own promotions and marketing initiatives, which he adds helps lift the excitement around cruising. The data backs up his comments; over the month more than 3000 CLIA travel agents visited the Cruise Month Toolkit, a 51% increase over the previous year. At the same time more than 4800 agents registered for the expanded Cruise Month webinar, a 43% increase on 2024.
“All our activity has been designed to highlight CLIA members as the best-trained cruise specialists available, and the number of travel agents getting involved in our education opportunities this year really proves that point,” Katz adds.
. . . Consumer
It wasn’t just travel agents getting involved; Cruise Month 2025 saw a 285% increase in clicks generated via LinkedIn and a 140% increase in clicks via Facebook and Instagram from consumers, while new visitors to the CLIA website increased by 12% and overall page views increased 33%.
