Hawaiian Airlines has reconfirmed its commitment to the Kiwi market as the carrier today announces some cuts to its route network.
The airline is suspending its services between Honolulu and Incheon. Fukuoka, and Boston to redeploy its aircraft to boost flights between Honolulu and Sydney, Papeete, Los Angeles and Seattle and support operations across its Hawai‘i network. Hawaiian Airlines ceo Joe Sprague acknowledges it was a difficult decision to cut the under-performing routes. “…these adjustments will ensure we are meeting strong demand for travel to Hawai‘i—both internationally and domestically —while providing all our guests access to more destinations,” he added.
Impacted guests will be offered options to be re-accommodated on other flights or receive a refund.
