There’s an elite new check-in option at Dubai International Airport, with the re-opening of an enhanced Emirates First last week.
Located in DXB’s Terminal 3, the private check-in area for EK’s First Class customers and Skywards Platinum members, provides ‘another level of hospitality’ says EK’s deputy president and coo Adel al Redha. Qualifying EK passengers can take advantage of EK’s chauffeur drive service, followed by a swift check-in at the re-opened Emirates First and relax in the EK lounge before boarding. Highlights of the exclusive check-in space include a grand golden entryway, armchairs and sofas, Rolex clocks showing the time in major world cities, soft lighting and no digital screens or advertising. The carrier says the re-opening of Emirates First is one of a suite of recent investments for its first class customers, including keepsake menus, engraved Robert Welch caviar bowls, rustic cheeseboard and a gloved service.
