As Air New Zealand continues to build back its route network, capacity and disrupt recovery, the carrier has also outlined plans to continue to invest in the trade.
In a wider context the carrier is working on projects such as an NDC solution, among others, to improve efficiencies for the carrier and the trade distribution. But at the same time NZ’s senior sales manager retail and TMC Stu Jones says the airline is looking to acknowledge the ‘hard-working frontline consultants’. “We’re thrilled to kick off the new financial year with an exclusive incentive designed to energise and reward our valued trade partners,” says Jones. He also points out that the carrier has taken steps to ensure all its trade incentives ‘are inclusive, easy to access, and designed with the realities of busy agency life in mind’, including some shorter and closer to home incentive trips.
. . . MEL Concert Famil
NZ yesterday launched an agent sales incentive to win one of 10 packages of flights, accommodation and an A Reserve ticket to see a huge popstar perform in Dec. While we can’t name just who’s concert it is, see HERE for all of the details. “This is just the beginning—we have a exciting roadmap of initiatives and incentives planned throughout the year, so watch this space,” he adds.
. . . DUO
NZ is continuing to invest in DUO, its interactive training platform, with fresh innovations to make learning rewarding and engaging, says Jones. “From bite-sized learning to interactive modules, DUO is evolving to meet the needs of today’s travel professionals. We’re committed to keeping DUO relevant and inspiring, giving our trade partners the tools and confidence to succeed.” As he thanks the trade for its ongoing support, Jones reminds agents that NZ’s ‘dedicated team of account managers, agency sales and group specialists are always just a call or e-mail away—we’re here to help’.
